Meet Sharon
“Hi there! I’m Sharon McKeeman, mother of four, author, educator, and artist. I’ve taught in public and private schools, charter programs, and homeschooled my own children, so I understand that every student learns in their own unique way.
I love sharing my skills in writing, photography, and communication, and I contribute to many publications such as the Wild + Free homeschool community.
For over twenty years I have focused on sparking curiosity and creativity while pursuing excellence so that each student can reach their full potential.
Using a mentorship model grounded in literature/great artwork and discussion-based/hands-on learning, I cultivate students’ strength in writing and the visual arts.
I’m dedicated to developing junior high and high school students who are thoughtful writers and creators, equipped to think critically and contribute meaningfully to the world.”

Online instruction occurs Mon, Wed or Fri 1:30-2:30 or 4-5 , and in-person instruction occurs Mon, Wed, or Fri 1:30-2:30 depending on student and instructor availability.
Schedule is published after conferring with registered families before the school year begins.
Use contact form to confirm space for your student, then register to save their spot. Full payment or charter certificates are due before instruction begins or in equal monthly payments.

Pop-up workshops are one-time workshops scheduled throughout the year. Stay tuned for upcoming workshops or submit your requests. Small-groups can schedule their own workshops with me.
I am also available for micro-school classes at my location on a first-come first-serve basis, please reach out if your group is interested.
